Copying data between NoxPlayer and computer is no stranger to computer users, especially those who have been used to using this Android emulator. However, the copy and exchange of computer data and NoxPlayer are completely different from moving data from NoxPlayer to the PC.
Specifically, if the first way can be roughly understood as when we copy + paste data from a computer to an Android emulator and vice versa. Then the second way, we will move, take all data on NoxPlayer and save it to a certain location on the computer.
How to transfer data from NoxPlayer to the computer
Before doing, you pay attention, we need to make sure, exactly the size of the data we will transfer and prepare a corresponding amount of free space. The calculation is simple, you will add the total size of the existing emulation versions, then add about 2-3GB more.
As shown in the picture below, the writer has 3 current versions of Nox with respective capacities of 5148MB - 879MB - 3976MB , so the free space we need will be:
5148 + 879 + 3976 + (2) = 12GB
But because the size is still in odd sizes, you can spare about 1GB more. If the drive resource can still be saved, you can skip this operation.
After determining the amount of space to save, you start to do the following:
Step 1 : You start Multi - Drive up, then left click on the icon of Relocate Emulator Data in the upper right corner of the interface as shown below.
Step 2 : A small window appears, left click on Start to move to start setting for data transfer.
Step 3 : Windows appears, find the appropriate location to save this data, left-click on the folder and select Select Folder .
Step 4: At this point we will have to wait until the data transfer process is completed. Depending on what data you have, this may take a long time.
Step 5 : When the process is completed, NoxPlayer will notify ' Transference completed ', select OK to confirm and close the installation window.
Access to the directory we have defined before to check. A default folder named NOX will be in this, which is the data from our simulator.
ATTENTION:
During the process of moving data from NoxPlayer to your computer, you need to pay attention to the following main points:
- Do not turn off, close the Multi - Drive window, NoxPlayer and the computer.
- Ensure uninterrupted execution for any reason.
- Minimize other unnecessary operations, or even leave the screen on until it is complete.
- Once the move has started, it cannot be stopped or canceled.
- If interrupted, users will easily lose data and can not recover.

Step 2 : File Transfer dialog box appears, where you will see the default path to the shared file storage folder below ( PC file path ). To change the folder or save location, left-click on Browse ...
Step 3 : Windows window appears, you find and select the new folder and location where you want to save the data and click Select Folder.
Once done, you will see that the path in File Transfer has been changed, and from now on, all data shared with Nox will be moved to this new folder and location.

For those who have installed to the C drive, or to the other drive that is almost full, you can simply move it to another location on your PC. It will solve the problem that can’t run the emulator or run the emulator slowly because of the lack of memory.
How to relocate the data?
- Click Mul-drive on the toolbar
- Click 【Relocate emulator data】
- Click【Start to move】
Note: The operation will move all the emulator files to the designated folder! and please close the running emulator before using the function.
- Select a folder destination, then click to select folder.
- Wait for 100% and click Ok.
